The South of England Youths Championship

Conditions of play.

• The event will be staged over 72 holes stroke play, which will be played in accordance with the Rules of golf and local rules, as approved by the Competition Committee.
• The winner will be the player who returns the lowest gross score over 72 holes.
• Caddies will be allowed.
• Handicap limit 5.

Qualifications

• Competitors MUST be UNDER 21 years of age on 1st January.
• Competitors who are members of more than one golf club may only qualify from their HOME club for handicap purposes.

Entries

• Entries must be on the attached form and be received by the Secretary, Rye Golf Club, no later than the closing date  in March .
• Entries must be accompanied by the stipulated fee (cheque made payable to Rye Golf Club) together with a stamped addressed envelope for the return of the starting sheet.
• ONLY postal entries will be accepted, not telephoned, faxed, emailed or late.
• Entry is limited to 50 competitors. If this number is exceeded there will be a ballot for the last places among the higher handicap players
• The competition is recognised as qualifying for handicap purposes.
